Challenge: 
Current fulfillment process was spread out over two separate areas and was struggling to keep up with growing sales without adding additional labor.

Process: 
Consolidated 1500 sf of packing area into existing 4800 sf warehouse space by introducing pallet and carton flow racking and pick areas with inventory located by pick frequency. Designed and implemented new packing stations using 5S principles.

Result: 
Productivity increased by 22% with a corresponding increase in revenue of 33% without adding labor and a 24% smaller warehouse space.
