DemandCaster Names Tom Nessen General Manager

Software and supply chain veteran to continue DemandCaster’s market leadership

TROY, Mich., December 18, 2018 – DemandCaster, the leader in cloud software for agile, end-to-end supply chain planning, today announced Tom Nessen as general manager. In this role, Nessen will oversee all aspects of the business, including sales, marketing, professional services, customer support, and product development.

Nessen brings to DemandCaster extensive supply chain and cloud software expertise, a proven track record of scaling teams, and experience delivering and implementing successful software solutions. Nessen was most recently the director of solution engineering at Plex Systems, where he teamed with sales leaders to help achieve record growth for the company. DemandCaster is an independent business unit of Plex Systems.

Prior to joining Plex, Nessen served as a senior sales engineer at enterprise software company Infor. Nessen’s experience also includes leadership and delivery roles with Plan4Demand (now Spinnaker), Innotrac (now Radial), and Manhattan Associates. He holds a bachelor’s in industrial engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
