It has to do with transportation, warehouses, etc. Supply chain encompasses much more than that. In supply chain, we focus on each part of the entire process. These two terms do interact and overlap quite a bit, however! Tech Target said, “Because there is a great deal of interaction between the logistics and supply chain functions, it is imperative that all these applications are fully integrated to share information and visibility across the entire supply chain.”
