Customer service should be part of S&OP. While many businesses don't include customer service in the process flow, they should! Quality communication and collaboration with those in your business that are part of customer service can streamline planning initiatives. They can give great planning insights as well as help with order pacing, timing, and more! Try including them in more of your discussions and see what you can learn from them.
