New Feature: Pivot Table Reporting and EditingEvents & Announcements
We are excited to announce the beta release of DemandCaster’s Pivot Table Reporting and Editing functionality as part of our Sales and Operations Planning module. This is one of our most widely requested features and is in advance of a greater set of reporting tools to be launched in the coming weeks.
A Pivot Table is a powerful data summarization capability found in data visualization programs such as spreadsheets or business intelligence software. It is a tool that is regularly used to present aggregate level data sets in sales and operations planning.
DemandCaster’s Pivot Table Reporting and Editing works just like what you find in excel. Here is a video run through of the capability:
This is just the beginning. We will be adding the ability to add additional aggregate grouping levels beyond what is provided in the S&OP hierarchy.
Finally, if you are going to test the editing feature, please download the current item level 12 month rolling demand plan detail. Since this is a beta, if an issue occurs during editing, you will be able to easily rebuild what you had by reverting back to the statistical values and uploading the demand plan file.
